Well, Hello There!

Well 2020 sure was something, wasn't it? It seems only fitting that the last thing I posted about before going completely AWOL was A Lesson in History - Chernobyl. In the timespan of the year/year and a half I have let this website collect cobwebs and I'm here to tell you now that I'm resurrecting and revamping The Literary Something starting with a necessary facelift. Gone is the orange, bring in the lilac!
I've decided that this year is the year of creativity. So far that has meant designing covers for my Spotify playlists (which if you can't tell by the fact that I just linked you to my playlists I am very proud of) and pretty much shoving my way into a Social Media Manager at my new job. I'm hopeful that 2021 will be better, despite the complete chaos the first couple of days have been. I plan on filling this year with reviews of the books I'm reading and, who knows, maybe pepper in some juicy brain dumps about how disappointing some of my once favorite authors have been.
For now I will leave you with some of the books that I have enjoyed during our time apart. Find these books at your local libraries and small business and - if you haven't already - follow me on Goodreads. You can keep track of all the books I read there; even the ones I don't officially review.
Here's to a new (and hopefully better) year!
